Pre-Care Guidelines for Airbrush Tanning:

• To achieve the most flawless and long-lasting airbrush tan at Elysium Spa, please adhere to the following pre-tan guidelines:
  • Waxing and Hair Removal: If you plan to have any facial or body waxing or other hair removal treatments, please ensure these are completed prior to your spray tan appointment, not after. Waxing after a spray tan and before your first shower can compromise the tan’s development and evenness.
  • Exfoliation is Key: Thoroughly exfoliate your skin and shave (if desired) before your scheduled spray tan appointment. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, creating a smooth and even surface that allows for optimal tan absorption and a more uniform and longer-lasting tan.
  • Product-Free Skin: It is crucial that your skin is completely free of any lotions, makeup, sunscreen, deodorant, and oils at the time of your airbrush tanning appointment. Even products applied earlier in the day can create a barrier and interfere with the tanning solution’s ability to develop evenly. We provide makeup wipes in the salon for your convenience should you need to remove makeup prior to your appointment.
