Our own experience began on August 16th, 2023, after a travel mishap involving a flight reschedule. Arriving at the resort earlier than anticipated and somewhat weary, we were immediately greeted with warmth and reassurance. Roshni, a front desk representative, exemplified this welcoming spirit. Despite our early arrival, she ensured our room would be prioritized and offered refreshing welcome drinks while we waited. When the room readiness was slightly delayed, Roshni went above and beyond by arranging a complimentary lunch, showcasing her proactive and guest-centric approach from the outset.
Roshni’s positive attitude and problem-solving skills became a recurring highlight of our stay. Whether it was a forgotten laptop adapter or a request for pool towels after hours, she consistently found solutions with a smile. Her dedication and helpfulness made a significant impact on our experience. We also appreciated the assistance of another staff member, whose name we unfortunately missed, who diligently looked after our laptop each day.
During lunch, we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ajith, another staff member who embodied Anelia’s dedication to guest satisfaction. Ajith’s genuine concern for every guest was evident in his interactions. He consistently engaged with diners, offering recommendations and ensuring everyone felt attended to. His hands-on approach, even assisting the food and beverage team during busy times, demonstrated a commitment to seamless service and guest comfort.
Upon completion of lunch, we were promptly directed to our room, number 145. The room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged. A unique and delightful detail was the artistic arrangement of toiletries, a testament to the attention to detail that pervaded every aspect of the resort. This artistic touch extended to the tea and coffee station, which was always perfectly presented. While our interactions with the room service team were brief, their courteousness, smiles, and efficiency were unmistakable.
Our extended stay of nearly a week allowed us to fully appreciate the culinary offerings at Anelia Resort & Spa. Unlike many resorts with repetitive menus, Anelia’s dining experience was remarkably diverse. The menu was thoughtfully curated to cater to a wide range of palates, featuring dishes from Indian, African, and European cuisines, ensuring there was something for every guest. Vegetarian options were equally abundant and appealing. Even the dessert selection offered variety, with the exception of the consistently available and refreshing fruit salad. The non-vegetarian dishes were prepared in an impressive array of styles, from barbeque and grilled to curries and sautéed preparations. The culinary team, including the menu planner and chefs, deserve high praise for their creativity and execution.
The personalized service extended to the dining experience as well. Staff remembered individual preferences, such as specific omelet requests and our preference for hot Indian Masala tea. These details were recalled and fulfilled without prompting, adding a touch of personalized care that enhanced our dining enjoyment.
Further demonstrating Anelia Resort & Spa’s commitment to guest satisfaction, senior management actively engaged with guests, seeking feedback during evening hours. This proactive approach to gathering firsthand impressions was truly remarkable and highlighted the management’s dedication to continuous improvement and guest-centric operations.
