The journey to Layana Resort & Spa offers different scenic routes depending on the time of year. From November to April, the typical transfer experience combines land and sea travel, adding an element of adventure to your arrival:
Your journey begins with a comfortable hour-long drive in an air-conditioned minivan from Krabi Airport to Baan Hua Hin pier. From there, embark on a breathtaking 20-minute speedboat ride aboard one of Layana Resort’s private speedboats. This exhilarating sea transfer, while subject to weather and wave conditions and your personal preference, offers stunning views and a taste of the island’s beauty right from the start.
During the months of May to October, due to sea conditions, Layana Resort & Spa operates round-trip transfers exclusively by minivan for your safety and comfort. While this land-based transfer takes approximately 2 hours one way, and potentially longer at times, it ensures a secure and reliable journey to the resort, allowing you to relax and anticipate your luxurious island retreat.
It is important to note that for safety reasons, Layana Resort & Spa does not operate boat transfers between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM throughout the year. If your flight arrives at Krabi Airport after 5:00 PM, you can still reach Layana Resort & Spa using local ferry services, which operate until 10:00 PM. The resort team can assist you with these arrangements to ensure your arrival is as convenient as possible.

When planning your stay, please be aware that room rates for December 31, 2023, include a mandatory gala dinner, ensuring a festive and memorable New Year’s Eve celebration at Layana Resort & Spa. For guests exceeding the maximum room occupancy, additional charges for the gala dinner will apply.
